As regards my previous post in October my resolution is completely out the window! I have been busy on Instagram though, here are some snippets of what I’ve been up to the last couple of months. I’ve been taking loads of painting courses some offered by St Ives School of Painting www.schoolofpainting.co.uk with various artists, some with the London Drawing Group https://www.instagram.com/londondrawinggroup/?hl=en, a group of 3 artists who give a variety of courses most weeks: life drawing, collage, in-depth analysis of well known painters, model making. Finally I try to do the weekly 1 hour sessions with drawingisfree.org where anyone can link up on Monday morning and draw about 12 different portraits, those who pose are participants. It’s been fun going back to school and discovering different techniques. and it’s all good practice too.
A few more faces from the Monday morning 1 hour sessions with drawingisfree.org .

Every year in October there’s “Inktober” ( created by I don’t know who) for any one to take part in. Someone (again, who?) publishes a list of “prompts” for every day of the month, the aim being to make an ink drawing every day of October. I managed to do something every day, however whenever I was at a loss as to how to portray the prompt, I brought Gypsy in to help my imagination! I must confess I got bored with black and white so I graduated to colour for some of them, also did some on the iPad. Here are a few, the ones without captions are probably where I ignored the prompts and decided to do just do a drawing fo something that caught my eye.

Then the London drawing group londondrawinggroup gave a seasonal webinar last Friday on making doggy decorations for the Christmas tree, here is my Gypsy, slightly slimmer than in reality:
